The PowerKnights wrapped up a very successful competition season on April 8th at UNH.
For our first event at WPI, we ranked 3rd of 40 teams and were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
In our second event at Bedford HS, we ranked 5th of 41 teams and proceeded to the semifinals. We were also awarded the Excellence in Engineering Award.
At the New England District Championship we seeded 9th, and captained the #8 alliance. We were eliminated after two matches by the eventual winner of the event. We have the dubious honor of having the highest losing score (470 points) in all of FIRST so far this year.
Our alliance partners were Manchester Central and Manchester School of Technology. This is the first and only time that an All-Manchester Alliance has competed at a modern FIRST event.
Our team qualified for the FIRST World Championships in St Louis, MO being held at the end of the month, ranking #19 out of 194 teams in New England.
Thank you for your continued support of The PowerKnights.
